EMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH
Rev. Jennifer McCurry, Pastor
The word “Emmanuel” means “God with us.” We are a congregation of disciples that seeks and celebrates God’s presence among us when we gather to worship, study God’s word, pray, share, and serve together. We pray that our Christian community can be a part of your journey of faith and ministry.
May God bless you.
Wed. Lenten Services
We will gather at 6:30 pm for a covered dish dinner in the fellowship hall. Over dinner, our social ministry leaders will lead gathered group in “doing” something together which will help live into that part of our purpose. Then at 7:30 pm, we will move upstairs for worship in the chapel/adult education room, where in prayer and scripture and song we’ll consider where God meets us in the things we say are important, and how God connects us to one another and the surrounding community through them
The themes for each week will be:
March 5, Ash Wednesday: Living for Christ!
March 12: Coming together to worship
March 19: Studying God’s word to grow
March 26: Praying to strengthen
April 2: Inviting all to share
April 9: Ministering in lovePlease consider joining us for on these Wednesday evenings, whether it is for one week or for all of them.
